Therma, an anagram of founder/creator Joshua Mather’s last name, is a cross-genre singer/songwriter, producer and entrepreneur. Launched in 2022, Therma infuses alternative, pop, electronic and metal to create grand soundscapes paired with vulnerable lyrical themes of grief, joy, defiance and celebration. Drawing heavy inspiration from science-fiction and fantasy themes, Therma utilizes stunning visuals and synth-heavy productions in their performances. “I want to make music that 12-year old me would really love," says Joshua, “even if the lyrics are about very adult themes".
